CCI's Engagement Coordinators use social media, digital outreach, community engagement, and relationship-building to connect prospective students with educational opportunities aligned with their goals.
Position Summary

The Engagement Coordinator is a remote, part-time, student-facing outreach and lead-generation role responsible for identifying, engaging, and supporting prospective students on behalf of Career Catalyst Institute and our institutional partners.
A significant part of this role involves using social media and digital communication to identify and engage prospective students, participate professionally in online communities, build relationships, and generate qualified interest in educational opportunities.
Engagement Coordinators proactively initiate conversations, respond to prospective-student interest, conduct follow-up outreach, and help individuals take the next step in exploring educational opportunities.
Because this is a remote position, Engagement Coordinators must be comfortable working independently, managing their time effectively, communicating consistently with their team, and maintaining accurate records within CCI's systems.
What You'll Do
Turn outreach into meaningful student engagement.

Use social media and digital outreach strategies to identify and engage prospective students.

Participate professionally in relevant online communities and conversations.

Generate prospective-student leads through digital outreach, networking, referrals, community engagement, and other approved strategies.

Initiate conversations and build relationships with individuals you do not already know.

Learn about prospective students' educational and career goals and connect qualified prospects with appropriate opportunities.

Conduct consistent and professional follow-up with prospective students.

Share approved content and information through appropriate digital channels.

Schedule consultations and other enrollment-related appointments.

Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-up activities, and student progress within CCI's CRM.

Work independently in a remote environment while meeting established activity and performance expectations.

Participate in virtual meetings, training, coaching, and team collaboration.

Follow CCI policies, approved messaging, and applicable institutional partner requirements.

Strong candidates should be confident using social media and digital communication to connect with new people, participate in online communities, build trust, and generate genuine interest.
Successful Engagement Coordinators demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, initiative, organization, consistent follow-through, comfort with technology, and the self-discipline required to succeed remotely.
Experience in customer service, social media, sales, recruiting or outreach, higher education, community engagement, CRM systems, or other customer-facing work is valuable.
Candidates must have reliable access to a computer, phone, high-speed internet connection, and a private environment appropriate for professional remote work.

Performance may include qualified leads generated, prospective-student conversations, appointments scheduled, follow-up completion, CRM activity, and progression through the enrollment pipeline.
